Different volume output db level when using KK keyboard (MK1) vs. other keyboard - WHY ???

Hi everyone,
I have 2 Midi keyboards connected to my PC which I use when I record Midi in Cubase 14 Pro, one Komplete Kontrol (MK1) and one Alesis Q25
Rounting inside Cubase for all tracks is set to “All Midi Inputs”, so I can play on either of these keyboards when recording MIDI into Cubase.
My question: when I play MIDI notes into Cubase using the KK keyboard the output volume level is considerably lower than when I play them in using the Q25 (around 6 db), despite the velocity levels being identical.
This annoys the hell out of me. Why is this and how can I change it? I cannot find any setting that would explain this. (I am still using the 2.9 KK software version)
Would be great if you guys could offer some advice.
Thx in advance for any reply

The velocity curve might be different.
