S88 MKII - does it come bundled with Select 14

I've just purchased a S88 Mk II (though yet to take delivery of it).

I believe Komplete Select 14 was bundled with theisS88 as a 'base product' & that a license for Komplete Select will move to the new owner (me) …once I register the S88 Transfer ID in my NI account …is this correct?

If I am correct, this will mean I am able to use Select 14.

So if I have Komplete Select 14, can I upgrade to Komplete 15 Standard directly? (or do I have to buy an upgrade from Komplete 14 Select to Komplete 15 select then buy the Komplete 15 Standard upgrade?

Is this a new MKII or a used one coming to you via transfer?

If it's a transfer - to your account - to my knowledge Select 14 is no longer an option. But the new Select 15 certainly is.

Not exactly sure how this works for a used hardware transfer - and how you "get" Select into your account - you may need to ask Support about that.

But to you question - yes you can upgrade directly to Komplete Standard from any version (of the three choices) of Select 15

When you register the hardware serial by the transfer then you should get Komplete Select and as VP wrote then will most likely be the present version 15 (if so it will most likely be delivered per email as a voucher to get). Anyway even if you had had the version 14 then you should still be able to upgrade directly to Kompltete 15 Standard , see pricing section for what qualifies : Compare Komplete 15 bundles (You will see that it says For Owners Of Komplete Select no version mentioned). Also then all prices shown is always present prices.

Thanks guys, I should have it by Saturday …then, just for anyone else in a situation like this, I will report back here what happens with regards to what Komplete Select version I get (if any!) when registering the S88 in my NI account
