So this is a a bug that was introduced with TP4 and unfortunately still hasn't been fixed with the 4.2 update. Does anyone have a timeframe when it could get looked at? Hopefully I don't have to wait another 6 months?? 🤞

Hello, of course. I raised this issue with NI support back in late October 2024. The latest feedback I got from Pedro @ NI was that it was logged on NI's bug register as:
TP-18937 - Using "freeze" while in a loop will alter the loop size.
I was hoping this issue would now be fixed after waiting all this time, but it doesn't appear to be fixed with the latest TP 4.2 update.

Any news on the loops length bug 🐛 beatgrids don't even line up with the screens. If i hit a pad the length goes from 8 to 8.25 loop length. T4.4.1

So frustrating - I spent a fair bit of time mapping this, it worked perfectly on TP3, and now it's useless.
My sympathies. I'll keeping on nagging the developers to fix it, again and again every beta i test. You can follow up on earlier bug reports (via support) or create a new one to keep the pressure up. If there is one thing i dislike more than longstanding, old bugs, it's totally unnecessary new ones.
