Maschine Feature Request Plugin Management ( Instrument / Audio ) Categories

We could really use a better a better option when viewing plugins. Instruments / Audio vs. just lumping all of the plugins together in some lazy attempt as plugin management.

you are not wrong!!

theres a simple reality people need to realise regarding Maschine…

its a great hardware and software combination… and admittedly it shines in the hardware area…becos of their controller editor software

but when it comes to plugin management, or plugin compatibility.. its really lacking, it does what it does, and thats it..

if one wants better plugin implementation all across the board…

look toward routing sound into another DAW, so you can manage plugins with more compatibility & functionality, and literally removes alot of restraints… allowing for better intergration of your software & hardware

I'm a bit confused, are these not categories?

These are user editable - at least on the user side (NI resources/dist_database folder - categories.json files)

What is annoying is that Komplete Kontrol 3 has lost categories but Maschine 3 still has them (which is weird)

I’m referring to the ability to edit our plugins management such as Cubases plug-in manager. Create our own folders, move plugins around as we choose, I was hoping this could be done in the app vs editing code. Be great if NI would do something to improve the experience. ;) won’t happen but worth a try.
