Maschine 2 Software Frozen "Status: Scanning VST(s) - Relay"
I wanted to try out my Maschine Studio for the first time today, but I'm met with the Maschine 2 application frozen while it's in the process of opening. It says "Status: Scanning VST(s) - Relay" It's Version 2.15.2 (R2) in case that helps.
I also have a screenshot of what it looks like.

Ok, that worked. I had to remove the Izotope VST PlugIns and the AU Audio Units PlugIns and the Maschine software was able to open.

Try removing the plugin from the scan location and restart the Maschine software. This will help identify if it is an issue with the plugin or the Maschine software.

Check your VST location for a plugin called "Relay" (probably an iZotope plugin). Sometimes it can be a demo plugin or a plugin that requires attention that may throw a dialog box, it could be hidden behind the Maschine splash image.
You can just move the offending plugin out the VST scan path, once it gets through if you need/want that plugin, add it back and try a manual rescan

How would I remove the plugin from the scan location?

What you want to do is move (cut and Paste or Drag and Drop) the file to a different location (an archive folder or something) that is not being scanned by Maschine.

Yep, I noticed that it's only the Izotope Plug-Ins that are causing the Maschine Software to freeze. I'm going to move all the Izotope Plug-Ins to another location and see if that works.

Um, however putting the Izotope PlugIns back creates the issue again with it being stuck on the splash screen. Is there a way to make Maschine stop scanning for Izotope PlugIns, and instead, scan for Native Instruments ones?

Yes, don't put them back!!!

I encountered this problem the very first time I started the Maschine software yesterday. I had to force close the app and I tried again this morning. It started scanning from the beginning and eventually got stuck again on a different VST to the first scan (earlier than the one it got stuck on the first time too).
But I noticed in Task Manager that the VST scanning was a sub-task of the Maschine 2 task, and that I could end the ScanApp task instead. This forced the scanning process to restart but not from the beginning, and I was able to complete the scan and the software started up!

This fixed it for me! Thank you!!
For Mac users: Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor
Click on "Scan App" and the click the button in the top middle that looks like an hexagon with an X in the middle.
Then click "Quit".
It will automatically restart and start scanning again. I had to do this about 5-6 times before it finished.
