SampleTank and Komplete Kontrol Software issues

The Situation
I have created my preferred Kontrol mappings for a bespoke SampleTank sound using the Automation Assignment function and have saved these settings accordingly.

The Issue
Upon returning to this template, the mappings are no longer usable because the Automation Assignment function is deactivated and would need to be manually reassigned.

My Question
Is there any known solution or workaround to preserve the Automation Assignments permanently?

For context, this behavior is unique to SampleTank; it does not occur with any other plugin.

There are some issues around SampleTank and automation, something I raised with IK Multimedia some time ago, they didn't bother to even reply and from my experience, they don't fix bugs and issues much either.

One issue is that when you assign some parameters everything works but upon reloading, the assignments get screwed up. This is because they have a bug in their programming that for things like the effects slots, if you create mappings it all works but upon reload only the FX slot 1 works and everything else is not working. THis is because in the saved file all the other slots don't save the slot position ID correctly, this is 100% a code issue on their end, been that way forever.

I have a full NKS library that has all the mappings that DO work when reloading after some extensive testing. I really wanted to add the FX On/Off parameters to allow especially blind users to disable FX but this is not possible for the reason explained. This can save you a lot of time and headache:
