PLEASE HELP! Broken project with Kontakt 8

HI all,
I have a major project due in 2 weeks that relies HEAVILY on Kontakt 8 - which has been working perfectly for me. However, it is now completely broken. I can't load any libraries - either in standalone or in Ableton/Logic/Pro Tools. The support has been PATHETIC. It took them 48 hours to reply with one line suggesting I change the audio driver??????
I have deleted the plist, uninstalled, and reinstalled - still nothing. I even tried downloading Kontakt 7, and I have the exact same problem. The graphic interface is completely glitched out, and no audio will come through. I do note, however, that all the preview audio comes through for all the libraries. In my understanding, it is not an audio driver / routing issue -
PLEASE SEND HELP! Sincerely,
Dingo Spender - Australia

I guess I need to clearly understand how Kontakt was working perfectly one minute and suddenly not the next? And during a big project?

    Clearly something has changed.

Would really help to determine what you have done to change the environment.

Computers are not capable of doing anything without being told.

It has been a few weeks between sessions since I was away from the studio. Perhaps there was an update to the operating system? I've installed and reinstalled everything, so it seems that both the software and the OS are up to date on the Native Instruments side. I'm usually quite proficient at troubleshooting these issues, but this one has me stumped. Thank you for your response!

What OS? What sort of errors - if any?

And what happens when you try to load a library?

I checked your ticket, my colleague did indeed send you this article, based on the symptoms you mentioned, this is normal troubleshooting, you have to start somewhere. The scrambled graphics often happen when a wrong driver is selected in the Kontakt standalone application, so make you choose a Coreaudio driver there. I know it's counter intuitive but if we made an article it's because it's very real.

He also sent our support tool to check your system files, files that you sent and my colleague will get back to you. I understand that your issue can be frustrating but calling support PATHETIC based on this seems a little unfair. Maybe a few more details like which Kontakt library or libraries is/are affected, what version of Kontakt you are using, version of Logic, etc…operating system, screenshots, etc…

Is it in all projects? Have you tried to load the same libraries in Kontakt in standalone? Is everything working there?
