Can the S4 MK2 Loop recorder buttons be remapped?

I'm interested in getting an S4, Not sure if there will ever be a mk4 and the mk3 is still kind of expensive. However, the prices for an Mk 2 are reasonable.
Now for my question. I've got an S3 and I really like the four effect buttons. On the S4 MK2 there are some buttons for the loop recorder (size, rec, play, etc) Could these be re-mapped so that they can be used in the same way as the effects on the S3 and S4 mk3 ?
Thanks for your help.

They can be remapped, if you want to put in the work.
Make sure that the deck switch buttons work correctly when you get an S4MK2. They are the weak point in the device.

I made one which does exactly that a while back. Works with TP3 and TP4.

Thanks for your reply Sulherokhh and Stevan. That is great news ! As soon as I get my hands on that S4 MK2 I will purchase that Traktor mapping.

Coolio. Let me know if you would like to add other features to that mapping.

One more question for Stevan, what exactly is the difference between IMPORTing the TSI file and ADDings it in the preference/controller manager menu?
I use a couple of different controllers with Traktor ( Pioneer DDJ-SZ, a Traktor S8, a Traktor S3 and soon, the Traktor S4 MK2). I don't want to loose all these setting, so do I use the Add or Import?
I made a backup of my current settings as adviced by you.
Thanks again for all your help.
