Flowers, Gratitude & Kudos for NI x MPC!!!

Its been a long time since I’ve posted here but I had to pull up to drop off a truckload of flowers to NI for their recent partnership with Akai.

A few years ago, I grabbed a MPC Live 2 due to what I felt was early abandonment of a few NI products that I really really loved and just the general direction of things at the time. I won’t get into all the details because it’s water under the bridge now and I’m super happy how it turned out.

NI completely knocked all of the made for MPC expansions out of the park!!!! It’s a perfect marriage as everyone with ears knows that noone in the biz does software instruments and expansions better than NI.

I’ve had my NI expansions converted to mpc format for years but some of them are missing sounds, previews and the midi sequences. Not anymore.

Anyways, I’m super happy to be supporting NI again and now with no expectations attached to hardware. I look forward to what’s next for the MPC partnership. I hope to see full instruments and fx ported over in addition to more play series and maschine expansions.

Sidebar quick love for the partnerships that led to my Launchkey Mk4 being NKS enabled!

Partnerships are def the wave as Akai and Novation are cooking consistent HW wins and so very much better with NI Sound and NkS enabled.
