genre tags did not save Traktor 4

I spent 4 hours re tagging. Hit Apply, then OK. Every time, almost. Today its all gone. Traktor 4 loaded just like before.

Any idea why?

Win 11, intel 1335U, 40 gig ram, 1 TB drive, above average computer user. I could very well be the problem though. I am stumped. Its like I never did it.

thanks for posting this, because it shows me that I´m not crazy, because I also had this seen the next day and thought "was it a dream that I filled the tags for this tracks allready?"

what I found it, but unfortunately still not a 100% safe-workflow: when saving collection take away your fingers from mouse&keyboard, especially do not shift+tab into another opened program neither it´s small like calculater nor big like web-browser etc.

I can't tell you why this happens.

I just want to say that tagging in traktor is horrible. You probably could have got the same amount if tags with One Tagger or mp3tag in 1/4 the time. With one Tagger you can set up shortcuts for often used tags. No need to double click the horrible little cell in traktor, write it all out like a cavemen and hope it saves.
