this may interest someone who has both versions of Maschine 2&3 software
basically you can "PLAY" the patterns on maschine 3… send the midi-out
and on the maschine 2 instance receive via midi-in without "play"(sitting idle) and load another kit which will be triggered by all the midi on maschine 3
set your midi-outs & press play (maschine3)
set midi-in on the other maschine2 instance (leave "play" off)
also on the maschine2 side turnoff the routings and patterns, so all the midi routings remain intact when changing kits
you can load in various kits on the maschine2 side and triggering will occur
for volume/midi control… you will need to adjust the volumes on the individual maschine instances….
take note the "mute" from the maschine3 midi-out….will stop midi ALL midi channel information being sent over, thus nothing will trigger
so you would adjust the instrument levels…. which allows the midi-channels to be sent over
