Thanks for the new version and the continued work to improve things. However, I don't appear to be able to connect to any of my external synths via USB midi (via a USB hub) since I made the change - the Maschine isn't recognising the various external devices in the midi destination section of the Channel button. Has anything changed here - do I need a different spec USB hub now, or perhaps there's something else I need to do?

@Michael_NI Thank you and the Team for this update and the good work. Maschine+ is my favourite Groovebox an d it´s good to see, that there are some big chances going on for now and in the near future. At the Moment Maschine + is fine as it is. As saying other before me it would nice to have a quick Data transfer via wifi and compatibility for Maschine 3 Projekts on Plus and vise versa ;-) and of course Ableton Projekts support. Again thank you and happy eastern at all.

Hey @Michael_NI The new update rocks! I have a question regarding the reaktor player that is installed on my M+. There are a few dedicated users who create custom reaktor ensembles. Can I use them on the M+? Someone told that I can only do it for 20 minutes because it’s the player only. What is the correct info here, can I use custom reaktor ensambles having only the reaktor player on my M+?

    Peace and love

    also:

M is 2.18.5 on the M+, and latest version right now is 2.18.4 och desktop.

I currently have 2.17.? Installed to keep parity with former M+ version. Should I update to 2.18.4 now in the meantime while 2.18.5 is coming to desktop also? Or what’s the plan here?

Excited for the new update, though I will wait to install it not earlier than Sunday, since I have an important show coming up this Saturday.

On exporting 'Maschine 2 compatible projects from Maschine 3 on desktop' to preserve future support on MacOS and Windows: please include preset compatibility for plugins available on the M+ on version 2.

Support for sending projects wirelessly to Maschine Plus: Please add support for WiFi connection to M+ from Maschine 3 on desktop (hotspot solution?).

Redesign online activation: The previous option could probably also be used as a preferred alternative to update the M+ and/or sending authorized content libraries / plugins from your NI account. So (re)activation of the M+ after a reset would no longer be a necessity.
As long as the M+ is registered to your NI account, and the content is available on your pc (acquired through Native Access) it can be send to your connected M+.
After sync is completed it should be possible to delete Expansions from your pc to free up space; so validation is done once, and on your pc instead of the M+.
Unpacking content is done on your the pc, not the M+. This could / would make it possible to preselect the content you want on the M+, so not just entire packs.
The old / current method could coexist, but is no longer preferred or required.

I was tried to ask them about Reaktor via support, but they handle this question like: “we didn’t support it and never mentioned about it”, however there is the official blog post about Maschine+ development, where that mentioned that users can experiment with that.

so if you want to try, just create a folder on your SD card inside, where full path will be Native Instruments/User Content/Reaktor/Ensembles

And put some *.ens files that are ported for M+ inside Ensembles directory. If you don’t have a reaktor license that will work for 20 minutes.

so I could do something with the ens. Save group with samples and patterns, reload the ens, resample internallo to other slot, and so on?
