Issues with Komplete Audio 2

Dear NI community, Basti from Germany here. I've been using the komplete audio 2 interface for a long time now and it served me well for many years. Unfortunately, the second chanel suddenly stopped working. When I for example select it in guitar rig or in my daw, an intense amound of noise comes up, even when nothing is plugged into the chanel. To me it almost sounds like as if there had been a phatom power short circut, but all my cabels work fine. Obviously the warranty expired, so there is no chance for replacement. Is it a commen issue and is there a way to fix it?

    It's not a common problem I've heard of on the forums, so it's likely to be fault with your particular unit. Repair costs might be higher than the value of the unit, so I guess your best idea is get a replacement unit although they seem to be out of stock on the NI site and at Amazon.

    Depending on what software originally came with the KA2 you could sell the unit cheaply on eBay as "part working including software bundle" which might have value for someone.
