I have been contacted by this email account and wanted to make sure it not a scam.
I'd say it's a scam - check out this post
Was this sent to your email or via the message system here on the forum?
Well, the Native Instruments domain is "native-instruments" and all emails and communications officially come from this domain
That email you have there is "Native_Instruments", so that is the first red flag.
The wording is also terrible and a pretty easy giveaway, missing some words and of course having the "100% guarantee safe" part at the end. I can't see anything at all that looks legit.
Pays to know how to detect scams in this day and age especially if you do anything online as part of your business or main life.
I figured but just wanted to let you guys know. Thanks.
For all the years I’ve been online, a couple of months ago I received an email notification that I had been a naughty boy and all will be broadcasted to friends and family unless I part with some dough. Naturally I didn’t participate. Then fast forward a few weeks I received my very first live phone scam that my Visa card had incurred some large debits. I played along for a bit before telling them to go and do something very personally pleasurable to themselves.
I've had those two as well. Plus a long conversation with "Microsoft" about my laptop, which ended with them hanging up after about 20 minutes after getting very frustrated when I was telling them I couldn't find the buttons they were asking me to click. Probably cos I have a Mac 🤣
@Evo Raven Yes, this is definitely a scam. Thanks for sharing, that can help others in doubt.
Arrived today from: register@native-instruments.com With subject: Confirm your email address with Native Instruments

Hey all, I’ve confirmed with our team that this isn't a bug or a phishing attempt. We're currently in the process of updating our webshop, and the new system requires a verified email for secure sign-ins. We sent these out to anyone who hasn't verified their account in a while just to make sure you don't lose access.
.
If/When in doubt then never click link in the emails but go to the site in question yourself in your browser and check.
