Traktor S2 technical issues

I am having an issue with my new Traktor Kontrol S2. I have a usb sound card connected to the main audio out so that I can record my mixes. When I connect and start recording I can hear the music but if I hit the mic button in the recording I dont hear the microphone audio. I adjusted the gain. if I configure obs to record the main input from the controller the microphone works but when I hit cue the cue is recorded, so viewers hear me seeking the song on the second deck.
