Traktor 4.1.1, Mid-2015 2015 MacBook Pro 15", 2.5 GHz i7, running Monterrey 12.7.6, with an S4 MK3

Loyal user of Traktor since 2008, it's been great. But since upgrading to Traktor 4, Traktor has glitched 2-3 times live, at gigs, each time the same type of issue happens and I have no choice but to force-close it.. This past Saturday was a doozy - high profile wedding during peak dancefloor hour. All I remember is I had 1 or 2 songs playing, Mic C and Mic D both being used by MC and a musician, and the audio on all 4 channels dropped out, the waveforms for the 2 songs both physically disappeared, and when i tried dragging new songs into channels A & B, and they either didn't load altogether, or no waveform appeared. I had no audio at all, and there was nothing I could do. I tried restarting the S4 MK3, and that didn't help. I force-quit Traktor 4, and upon re-opening, was able to resume my set... But had 1-2 minutes of downtime.

Any ideas?

Hey, I experienced this too. One time I think it had something to do with my ssd drive I was using for my music. It stopped sending data and caused the wave file display issue and loading issue you described. My only solution was to restart Traktor 4 too.

I think my computer going into sleep mode or bedtime mode (apple feature) might have caused my computer to stop reading external ssd. I turned the feature off on my laptop and haven't had the issue since. I played a 6 hour gig this Saturday with no issues. Other than the birthday boys dad tripping over my wires and cutting off the music. Luckily, I didn't get the blame for that!

The other thing is it might be a bug, that happens and it is important to report like this cause it will help NI figure out what might be the culprit.
