Purchased the Middle east from Ni and need instructions to add it to my DAW

Hi all,

I purchased the Middle east from Ni and need instructions how to be able to open it in my DAW(logic pro x).

I go to AU instruments , Native instruments, kontak 8 , stereo AND from this point i dont have/see what i am supposed to have with the Middle east.

Please advise what am i missing.

In Logic, select Kontakt here:

When you've done that, hover over the green "Kontakt 8" button on your track and click the two lines that appear in the middle of the button. That opens the Kontakt UI, and from there you'll find Middle East in the icons towards the bottom of the UI.

You install latest version of Native Access for your OS

And since you are on Mac then : ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Then you install Kontakt 8 (macOS 13, 14, and 15)(latest update) and the Middle East Kontakt library. Open Kontakt 8 as standalone and let it plugin scan and you set Midi and Audio as must be set.

Then close Kontakt 8 , open DAW , scan for plugins in DAW , Insert Kontakt 8 plugin on a track and find Middle East in Kontakt 8.

Something like the above , I don't have a Mac and do not have Logic Pro so I could have missed something..

To use Komplete Kontrol app then you would have to install that also and do with that as with Kontakt 8 (scan and setup) and then you can also use that in the DAW
