Will you ever solve the problem with blurring the track waves?

Hello. Will you ever solve the problem with blurring the track waves? This is a very serious problem when playing in the middle of a set, the tractor simply blurs the track wave and it is not possible to exit this mode. The tractor is only forcibly closed! This is a problem for all users on different computers and systems!!!

The blurrying is just a visible symptom. The prolem underneath is that Traktor tries to fill the audio buffer but is unable to because the file path to the audio file to produce the audio stream is interrupted. In the past i have found that this is (for me personally) because the audio file is on a drive connected via usb (HD, stick etc). My solution was to make sure the used USB hub always has energy/connection, which some operating systems power down to save energy. There are settings to prevent this, depending on your OS.

This is interesting and I don't think I've seen this analysis/diagnosis before. I've definitely experienced this a blurry waveform/freezing couple of times - only once playing live - and it's been with my S4Mk3 and one of my MacBooks. I only have an internal drive. I'm wondering if there is a potential drive issue lurking that shows itself every once in a while…?

S4MK3 i had this too. The interface is usb connected. And it needs to carry the audio data. It's been a while since i had this and i have since optimized my machine for high performance several times, never having had this problem again.
