one day all the jacks, except usb, on the back of my mk3 werent working. I can transfer audio and midi data through the usb both directions but none of the hardware jacks work. I didnt mess with settings so thats not the issue. Whether i choose core audio, mk3, my arturia minifuse makes no difference. Im at a loss. Ive troubleshot cable malfunction (ive had a tester and testee go out same time) , channel, line choices. Ive messed with aggregate device a little but cant rule that out as i dont have a solid grasp how that works because ive never had audio midi setup 100%, for example my volumes in audio are always at zero or greyed out but i get volume. Hope that helps narrow it down. Same issue with old mac running high sierra and my new m4 mac.

when you use a aggregate device , you need to select that in the maschine settings / audio , you can also select your inputs and outputs

Also check the midi section to make sure your inputs and outputs are active ( check box)

Also there are some Mac privacy settings , in the Mac system settings , you definitely need to grant maschine access to the microphone ( which is really whatever audio inputs your are planning to use )

@boyband You shouldn't need to make or use an aggregate device.

The sound not going through the jacks, Is that for any audio software, for the Maschine software? Can you post screenshots of your audio settings, for your Mac, for Maschine?

Make sure that Maschine and all your music apps have full disk access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Ensure that access to the microphone is enabled, as mentioned @ALDREAD: MASCHINE 2 Does Not Receive an Audio Signal with macOS 10.14 (or higher)
