Abbey Road Drum Libraries MIDI-mapping

Hi,

I need a way to use the same MIDI-mapping across the whole range of Abbey Road (and Studio Drummer) Libraries. They all contain the possiblity to save optional mappings, but I can not find a way to use those across the libraries.

Attached picture shows how I created my own mapping and saved it, but it does not show up in the other libs.

I have looked through the Komplete Kontrol directories (including user-dirs) , but did not find any files containing the mappings (for possible copy paste between libs)

Any help?

Those are all just well known VIs in the market that NI has pre-translated to the maps used in the Abbey Road drums. Generally some are very close with a few differences others have a lot of differences. You can find a lot of other general MIDI mappings for other drum virtual instruments out there, but if you've got something special you'd have to figure that out and create your own mapping for how each MIDI CC in your kit maps to the individual kit parts in the Abbey Road kit then save it.

Thanx for reply, but that was not really my question.

I have no problem customize the mapping (actually it is not at about MIDI CC's, but MIDI notes), The only problem is, that I then have to repeat every customized mapping for each library. What I needed was some way to share them b e tw e e n my (own) libraries/instruments, which does not seem to be an option?
