Does anyone have an idea how to solve the update issue with NI software and F-secure?

Hi,

The NI Kontakt 8, Controller Editor, Maschine 3 and Komplete Kontrol updates, along with their software ScanApp, triggers F-Secure antivirus due to the following detection: Drop.Win32.WinSelfCopy.1670251. Anyways I couldn’t use those applications at all. Is this an actual virus or a false positive?

Most certainly a false positive.

Pretty sure that all NI software is malware free - if it weren't - there would a chaos on these forums.

To solve this issue - consider a different anti-virus or stick with Defender - which is more than anyone needs.
