Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt updates are broken – updates break S49 MK2 every time

I'm currently both extremely disappointed in Native Instruments and simultaneously frustrated beyond belief. Every "update" to Komplete Kontrol breaks MK2 keyboards in a novel way. I've now had to revert to ver 3.2.1. THREE TIMES in a row after giving NI the benefit of the doubt on their last three updates that were supposed to fix MK2 controller issues incl. Reaper integration.
In addition to this Kontakt 8 seems to currently default to WASAPI and does not even allow me to select ASIO on my Steinberg UR RT4. All hardware drivers, Windows 11 updates and everything else are up to date. The issues are with NL and NL alone.
We all know that NI's problems are directly connected to the company's acquisition by empty suit hedge fund investors, who neither care nor understand anything about our craft. The direct result of this was NI streching itself so thin that there's no real customer support or meaningful software development left in this husk of a former giant. But this is beyond comprehension.
Just check this screenshot out – how is it even possible to release an update with the date 2027-03-27?? Such elementary mistakes do not exactly instil confidence in whoever is currently working on driver's at NI. I can no longer rely on my Komplete Kontrol S49 MKII keyboard to work and must now begin to look for alternative, non-NI hardware and revise my workflow completely. I've spent 20 hours needlessly – not making music but dealing with these idiotic issues. Time is precious and we're not supposed to spend it this way.
I can't spend much more time dealing with a company that has zero interest in serving its customers. I could've made music all this time but no. NI isn't really into that anymore.

@Vanjazz I see that you contacted our support already regarding a hardware issue with your keyboard. It seems that everything is on it's way. I'm not sure what you mean about no real customer support. I can't see any other request from you about other issues.
Could you explain what the issue is with the Komplete Kontrol update itself? We didn't have any similar reports from other users. Some details would help here.
Now for Kontakt 8 and your audio driver problem, we would recommend to do the following:
Delete the Kontakt User Registry Folder
- Click the Windows Start button and enter "regedit" into the search field. Then select Registry Editor from the results.
- In the Registry Editor, open the following directory:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Native Instruments - Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the corresponding folder:
Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
Kontakt 6: "Kontakt Application"
Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8" - Close the Registry Editor.
- Start Kontakt in standalone mode (not in your DAW) and select your audio interface's ASIO driver in the Audio and MIDI Settings dialog.
And yes, there was a typo in the date, it's only a little human mistake, and a purely cosmetic one, that has been fixed since then.
Frustration is understandable when having this kind of issues, however I can assure you our customer care and developers are working pretty hard to improve our products and assist our customers, on the forum, or through our support portal.
