Neutron 5

HI all, I have a subscription to Music Production Suite Pro. All of the apps are available except Neutron 5, which is listed but has an exclamation mark in the box where it would either read 'Installed' or 'Open'. I have logged out/in again but cannot see what the problem is. The ellipsis only reveals release notes. Any ideas? Many thanks!

My Neutron 5 isn't listed in Native Access, but it's listed separately in my DAW (Ableton) under a separate category of plugins under the iZotope category rather than the Native Instruments category. That makes sense to me since it's really not an instrument but acts more like an effect as it gets dropped into the signal chain after any virtual instrument to modify the overall sound and performance of the output of the instrument. Without knowing what OS or DAW you're working with I suspect it's probably organized in a similar way on yours. All of this was done automatically through the installation process for Neutron 5.

Hello,
have you tried to log in online and see if you have some additionally information there? Do you use an iLock, and is the product portal up to date?

Many thanks for pitching in with suggestions. Unfortunately, N5 isn't listed under either iZotope or NI in my plug-ins. It appears to be stuck in Native Access. To be clear, the screenshot shows what I'm seeing. I just don't know what it means or how to resolve it.

Ok I was wrong you bought it via the native instruments website, I still have to get used to it that it is now one and you can buy it from both companies and can have two different install apps or not. I think in this case we need help from support:
https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000053677-Download-Installation
there is a reg tool from native that could potentially fix it but i checked and neutron 5 is not listed yet

Try this :
Reset the XML file
1. Quit Native Access and all other apps.
2. Open the following location on your computer:
macOS: Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Service Center
Windows: C: > Program Files > Common Files > Native Instruments > Service Center
3. Delete only the file named Native Access.xml from the Service Center folder.
4. Start Native Access and click the refresh button.
