i cannot for the life of me get traktor pro 4 to analzye my hard drive full of music. i keep getting the error above when i try to analyze the tracks like it suggests. i have tried everything. i re added the folder in settings. it seems to actually analyze something if i drag it into the track collection but it will not let me drop the whole drive or even folders in there to do that and only seems to work if i drop a single folder with tracks in it in there, and if i were to go that route to import all of my stuff it would take years.

any ideas here? on a macbook pro m2 2022. traktor and computer are fully updated.

i did see that someone had the same problem previously but the discussion was closed, even though it appeared that the problem was not solved. not sure how to proceed. thank you for your time in advance.

    Hey!

Have you checked the following article?

This article states the correct procedure to import music to Traktor.

none of the things in that video work.

just to try, I'm importing my hard drive into iTunes and then I'm going to try importing that to traktor.

so i think i was able to get it to scan my stuff but the way i had to get traktor to recognize my stuff was super dumb. i had to open up apple music on my macbook and sign in and all that and then scan my entire hard drive that way and then open up traktor and point it to my "itunes" (its called music now) and it looks like it is scanning all of my files finally.

a workaround i guess. super dumb. once it is done scanning them all i will confirm if it actually worked.
