Native Access Install

As a retired musician I was hoping to set up a small home studio, hopefully to integrate some of my old outboard gear (Akai, Roland, Yamaha etc) with the rather wonderful Native Instruments which I have used a lot over the years but never owned.

I bought a used S88 Mk2 hoping this would be a good start (!)

Problem - I am running the latest Cubase on an older Mac (2x3.46 Ghz 6-core Intel Xeon. 96 GB DDR3. Sonoma 14.4) which I am wondering may not be up the job.

I was given the code to register the keyboard but am not sure if I can install the Native Access. (Which version for starters).

Very grateful for any guidance (for someone still keen to make music and still the owner of an ensoniq mirage!!)

Thank you

Ray

Native Access should always be the latest - which is v3.17.0 Found here:

    Native Access

Your gear looks fine. Get Native Access installed and get the keyboard registered.

I believe you should still get a small smattering of free NI instruments n stuff following registration if this is the first NI keyboard you have owned but I cannot be certain.

Have never added an older board like this to my account to see what happens.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hello VP,

Cannot thank you enough for your fast and clear response which has put my mind at rest somewhat.

I followed your link and am assuming it is the MAC INTEL version.

    Very grateful and kind regards
