Komplete Audio 6 Mk2 - Glitchy/bitcrushed sounds on audio jack inputs

I'm having problems with the Komplete Audio 6 Mk2, it might be after updating to MacOS Sequoia.

The outputs on the unit are working fine, but when I plug an audio jack in to either input, the sound is really glitchy/bitcrushed/almost vocodered. When i plugin the microphone via XLR to the same unit, it seems to work fine.

To isolate the problem, I tried the unit on another mac (running Sonoma 14.6.1) and the inputs worked fine.

What kind of instrument do you plug with that cable? What kind of cables are you using? Balanced or unbalanced? What program are you running when this happens? DAW? Youtube? What are your audio settings for your Mac's output? For your audio programs?

    Hi Jeremy, answers below:

What kind of instrument do you plug with that cable?

    Guitar

What kind of cables are you using?

    1/4 Jack to Jack

    Balanced or unbalanced?

Unbalanced (these same cables work fine for the input when tested on my other mac which is on Sonoma).

What program are you running when this happens? DAW? Youtube?

    Garageband

What are your audio settings for your Mac's output?

The Komplete Audio 6 is selected as input and output. The output works fine and plays whatever is in GarageBand, it's the input that sounds distorted. Audio/Midi setup - Clock source default, format 44,100hz (I tried 48,000 and 96,000 but didn't make a difference).

    For your audio programs?

Komplete Audio 6 selected inside GarageBand.

Again, could record guitar into problem until recently when I believe my son (who's mac it is) upgraded to Sequoia.

I changed my sample rate to 192kHz and buffer to 2048, It solved bitcrushing and distortion.
