Maschine Studio - sending MIDI notes not working

Hey all,

Been trying to set up my Maschine Studio to send MIDI notes to my Behringer MS1, but for a weird reason, i'm not able to do so. As i run Ableton Live, with it's external instrument I don't have any problems with that, but for a reason beyond me, i can't do it via the Maschine which is my studio centerpiece. Attached you can find my current settings. Thanks in advance!

Ok I see now, you use the external instrument device within ableton, can't you select maschine midi as midi input (under "midi from"), where normally"all ins" is set, maybe under that you have to set maschine too, where post/pre FX is set normally. I can test it myself today and see if it's possible with that external instrument device, I think it must be possible to route that midi over.

P.S. i can`t test with the external instrument device, i only have live lite, but i have testet with a midi track and it should work as i explained above

I think you need to create a midi channel with your behringer midi set on output and input set to maschine midi.

@Uwe303 where should i do this from? For example, when i did the test with Ableton Live's external instrument, it all goes well. Even with my Octatrack MK1 everything works properly. I'm struggling only with the Maschine setup.

go in to the maschine setting / midi and check the virtual port for output

So you try it with maschine stand alone? Please describe your setup, you want to work, a bit more in detail. With maschine stand alone you have to enable the output in the file\prefs/midi tab, then you can select it as midi output.
