Can the Maschine Mikro Mk3 be used as an Abelton Midi controller?

Question as above really, I believed it could be and recently purchased one. However After following the NI instructions for installing the script for Maschine Mk3 for Ableton 11 on the Mac, no such joy. I do not even get power going to it unless I launch the VST.

Hi @OneLove Did you install the script from this page? The script on that page is for Maschine Mk3, not Maschine Mikro Mk3 unfortunately. Mikro doesn't have an official Ableton Live template...but you can switch to MIDI mode following the steps in this article here: How to Switch Your Native Instruments Controller to MIDI Mode
