How do I re-import favorites into KK browser after initializing database?

Hi everyone, just wondering how to get my favorites back; I saved a copy of the the favorites.db3 file before deleting it. Restarted KK and everything's back to normal, except the favorites obviously were missing. I tried simply putting the saved favorites.db3 back in the place of the newly created favorites.db3, but that caused KK's browser to crash again. Any thoughts as to what I could do to get them back? Thanks in advance.😎

Yeah- I had backed up the old favorites .db3, and tried to re-insert it. It must be corrupted. Thank you for taking the time to assist. I appreciate it. Cheers

Hey @Schiebs The location for the favorites.db3 file is somewhere else:

Macintosh HD > Users > "Your User Name" > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Shared

    Hey Jeremy, I'm confused

Is this the file path you were talking about? If so, this is the same location where have been working. I reinitialized the database by deleting the requisite .db3 files in that location, and attempted to place my saved favorites.db3 back in the folder and the database crashed again. Do I delete the "new" favorites.db3 and drag the old one back in, or keep the "new" favorites.db3 and drag the old one in? How does that work?

    Thanks in advance

Oh ok, I understood that you placed this file somewhere else. So you displaced this file because Komplete Kontrol was crashing? In some cases this file can be corrupted, if it crashes Komplete Kontrol any time you put the old favorites file back, it would definitely indicate the file is corrupted. Or was there another reason to move the file?
