    Hello,

as far as i know that´s not possible. The scarbee bass instruments show a bass but you can´t click on the bass strings, you see if you play a key what string is played with what finger + an index on the fret board and if a mute (low velocity) is played and of course what tone if you play a higher velocity note. All the session instruments have a melody mode where you can play single notes and define if open, muted and what not with a modifier key so that´s maybe the best way for you jam bass.

is the scarbee bass another plug in? Is there a way to see which string and fret is being played?

also with jam bass is there a way to see which notes being played in each pattern? And with scarbee bass are there any patterns or is it just a virtual bass and thats all? Thnx

For the latest scarbee bass you can have a look at the manual here at the bottom of that page, you can do a lot of things, selecting the string and cool stuff:

in jam bass you can drag and drop the phrases/patterns midi into your DAW, if I remember correctly, it's a cross sign next to the pattern in the pattern list. I can later have a look if I'm back at my PC. But I would here also highly suggest to read the manual, those instruments are great and complex and if you understand them you can have even more fun with them.
