What should I do if Native Access doesn't see a plugin update?
Hi, I'm new here and I'm not quite sure if a similar topic has already been raised but I could not find a similar post. Lately the orchestra plugin I use got an update. I downloaded and installed it through the plugin producer's app, the files are in proper folders but when I open the plugin through Kontakt 8, samples are not there. I reinstalled the whole plugin two times but the problem still exists. I really want to use those new sounds. Did anyone had a similar problem? How did you handle it? I'll be grateful for any help.

You can try just resetting the Kontakt database else do the whole thing.
Be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS
Then reset the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access
Then reboot computer and run Native Access
Then reinitialize the KONTAKT Database
Then run Kontakt 8 as standalone to see if that helped.

@PoorFellow 's suggestion above is the answer.
And be mindful of his comment to check the version of Native Access. Sometimes, older versions of Native Access won't see certain instrument or library updates. The solution here is to update Native Access first, then let it load and refresh.
Native Access for me on Windows is currently at 3.17.0, so if yours has a lower number than that, you should update NA.
Good luck!
