Thumbnails Missing from New Kontrol S88 Mk3

in Komplete General

Thumbnails are present in Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt 5,7, and 8 and when I select the "Browser" button on the Kontrol S88 Mk3 , but they do not show up on my Kontrol S88 Mk3 when I select the "Plug In" button while working in the mixer view of Logic Pro X.


Again…I can see the thumbnails when I use the "Browser" button (as in first photo below) , but after selecting the instrument the thumbnail will not mount the image ( as in the 2nd image).

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt and Native Access; re-scanned all of the instruments in Plug-in Manager, re-initialized the keyboard back to factory settings, and re-installed all of the same.

Does anyone know how to get the thumbnails to mount once you select the "Plug-In" button to mount the image on the screen?

    No idea what those top 2 libraries are - are they actually NKS ready or third party imported (in which case you need to make your own)

    Grandeur isn't NKS2 ready yet afaik (but again it's easy to make a banner for it)

    Thank you for responding…the first two are The Free Orchestra by Project Sam

    But,….I tried the following that are supposed to be NKS 2 ready and still no luck, for some reason they will not mount

    Ok the free orchestra does appear to be NKS compatible but it doesn’t look from the thumbnail like it is correctly installed or maybe it has been moved?

    What do you mean by ‘mount’ are you still referring to thumbnails not showing or do you mean the presets don’t load?

    The Grandeur (and many others) should definitely be showing a banner.

    Have you installed NI Hardware Connection Service?

    Just gave the Free orchestras a try - this is how they should look so I think they are not installed correctly (even the names are wrong)

    Hello and thank you both for responding. I have installed NI Hardware Connection Service.

    Yes, I was referring to the image IS NOT mounting, but the presets are working just fine.

    What should I do next? I am not getting the image you have in you last picture and that is what I am expecting should be happening for my keyboard. I even re-installed The Grandeur piano and it's not showing as expected.

    Thank you guys for your help. I was able to get it fixed. Sweetwater tech support helped me. Found out you cannot have Komplete Kontrol application open at the same time…it causes confusion and the Logic does'nt know who to take instructions from…
