Kontakt 7/ 8 , should I update or not ?

I went to update Saffarin, It would not update to Kontakt 7. in Native access. It says I need Kontakt 8.Then the message said "would you like to update both now.So if I click update is it really that simple and every thing will smoothly update with out me having to do any thing else..I am happy with K7 what is the advantage of K8
