Has anyone seen this? Traktor waveforms on external screens?

Hey everyone, I was scrolling through Instagram and came across something that really caught my attention. Apparently, there’s a way to display Traktor’s waveforms and deck info on external screens without using a built-in display controller like the S8.

It looks like it works with small, affordable screens and doesn’t require buying expensive gear. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Does anyone here know how this works or has tried something similar?

I’d love to hear thoughts from other Traktor users! If this is real, it could be a huge deal for those of us who don’t want to stare at a laptop all the time.

Yeah, saw it as well on reddit today.

My current guess is that they slightly modify the QML code for the s8, then capture the output and display it on an external screen.

Hey, I saw this too and it looks really interesting. Do you know if they have a website or something? I can't seem to find any official info about this anywhere. I really need something like this in my setup!

If they can really get this thing off the ground and don't fall short of their own high standards, that would be really cool. They'd definitely have me. So far, it seems like they're very committed, albeit perhaps a bit clumsy in their release strategy, but that could still change.

If they're able to maintain a proper roadmap and communication, and don't fall short of their own standards, I do see some potential.

    Hey, has anyone seen this?

I just came across it on Instagram — they’re showing 4 decks on external screens with Traktor, and it looks insane. I have no idea how they’re doing it, but it seems it’s just two people behind the whole thing. Super curious to know more.

That's got to be real. 10 years ago that was already possible with an app, I can't remember the name. I remember there was some latency but nothing too bad. It was good enough to see the waveforms and would respond to touchscreens as well.
