Dragging midi pattern into Logic Pro

Hi All

I'm trying to drag a midi pattern from Machine into Logic but can't figure out how to do it. I want to drag pattern 1 onto the main machine track in Logic, so it only this track which shows the midi regions, all the instruments are already routed to their own channels. When I click on the midi icon in Machine, nothing happens. I don't want individual midi regions in Logic, just the midi pattern on the first Machine track.

The drag and drop icons for midi and audio work like this: you click on one of them, hold it, move away and it will start to render the file for you. Once it’s ready you can drop it where you want (desktop, another pad, DAW,…).

Usually the rendering for midi file is quite immediate, For Audio it could last longer
