How to make legacy blocks rack-ready?

If you download the Block Template from the User Library, it contains a pdf manual for the Blocks framework. This includes how to set up patch and play ports.
Adding in patch and play input and output ports is not particularly difficult and is the only requirement iirc.
Apart from that, you should put Blocks you want to use in Racks in the User Blocks folder on your system. This is defined in the file menu under preferences. Doing this means that Racks can be shared as long as the recipient also has the same Blocks in their User Blocks folder.
