    Heyo!

    Yes, you can use more than 4 Kontrol F1s on one PC. While Traktor Pro 3 only supports a maximum of 4 F1s, you can bypass this limitation by using the controllers in MIDI mode.

    This allows you to use them as generic MIDI controllers and map their functions to any software or hardware that supports MIDI.

    I can 5 instances in hardware of my windows., but I per example see in Ableton I only can use max, although they're in midi mode.

    They are named Traktor Kontrol F1-1, F1-2, F1-3 and F1-4, as I gave them the name thru controller editor. but the 5th has the name Traktor Kontrol F1-1 (Port 2)

    🤔

    when I arrange 2 with the same name i get a conflict and in ableton 2 F1 devices control the same CC

    I can only name 4 in controller editor;

    Is there a workaround for it ?

    Ableton MIDI wise, you can sucessfully control up to 4 F1 devices (like the Controller Editor suggests).

    I'm running into the same problem with Traktor right now.

    I tried to rename one F1 in the Controller Editor, but it offers only a selection not a text input field. With this limitation, it seems not to be possible to use more than 4 F1s.

    @Martiniix_NI could you please elaborate a bit more on how this can be achieved? I have 4 controllers in Midi-Mode (my own Mixer and Deck control mappings in Traktor) and I'd like to add 1 more in the default Remix Deck config and I don't see any chance to run them simultaneously just because of a naming issue in Controller Editor.
