Ableton Remote Script for Kontrol S MK3

Hi, I am using ABLETON LIVE 12.1.10 with Hardware KONTROL S49 MK3 and Abletons internal remote script "Komplete Kontrol S Mk3".

The current state of the remote script in ABLETON LIVE i.m.o. is not usable. I also use the KONTROL S MK3 in CUBASE 14 and BITWIG, where it works as expected.

The KONTROL S MK3 transport controls in Ableton i.m.o. must work same as Ableton PUSH 2/3, KOMPLETE KONTROL S MK2, MASCHINE MK3 (latest remote script), KK A25. But they don't.

In ABLETON LIVE when you hit SPACE on keyboard or PLAY on external controllers, the playhead always either restarts from last start position or from the selected position (via mouse or by hitting STOP twice).

This is not the case for the KONTROL S MK3 keyboards. They act more like Maschine Software transport. Means you always have to press SHIFT + PLAY for this. But first of all no other ABLETON LIVE hardware controller I had and have does work like this, Ableton Push 2, Push 3 and KK S MK 2 do it right. An second, the buttons PLAY and SHIFT are too hard to reach at once on the KONTROL S MK3. At least not if you need to press them hundreds of times when iterating on a bassline, beat or melody.

Maybe the script developer did only self tests but no beta with some Ableton users. They would have noticed. He should have had a look how the internal script for "Komplete Kontrol S Mk2" in Ableton works, because it works perfectly. Or how the Maschine MK3 remote script or Ableton Push work. I think transport functions for PLAY and functions for PLAY+SHIFT "just" need to be swapped in KONTROL S MK3 remote script.

My feature request:

Please make PLAY button for KONTROL S MK3 behave same as other controllers, for instance KK S MK2, KK A25, PUSH 2/3, MASCHINE MK3 (external script).
