Hello countrygent, as my colleague and our community members said, Native Access 2 is surely installable and usable in Windows 10 operating systems. If you have that issue, here is the Knowledge Base Article that can help you with this subject:
Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
If the issue persist, please try the workaround in the PoorFellow's post above.
I hope this helps☺️

No you didn't. Did you not read the NA2 system requirements?

NA2 can be downloaded here. Note the requirements as follows:

Maybe you have misunderstood something. Native Access 2 used to not work when it was Native Access 2. However now Native Access 2 is only version 2 by name , the actual version number of N.A. 2 is now version 3.17 and that version runs just fine on Windows 10.
Please download the latest version of Native Access for your OS and run the installer as an Admin , Then run Native Access as an Admin to see if that helps.
If you have any problem installing or using the latest version of Native Access for your OS then please tell us what the issue is and include a screenshot of any error.

Doesn't seem to be true for everyone, in my case it doesn't run.

Please see the above responses for troubleshooting. NA2 does run on Windows 10. You may be experiencing an issue that can be resolved, but that doesn't mean it doesn't run. Windows 10 is one of our largest userbases.

True. If it can't run for some users as propose (download and click to install fails) that means it's overdue for updates because it has compatibility problems in the way it was written.

This is false. Native Access v3.17.0 has been the standard edition for months now - and has been working as advertised for months now.
I have assisted hundreds of users on this and in every case - there where anomolies discovered in the user environment. If the OS environment is not sound - like 100% sound - many issues can come into play.
Thousands of Win 10 users have no issues installing NA whatsoever - and they are not doing anything special either. Their OS environment is solid and NA works.

I can also confirm (as a Win 10 user) that this is a completely wrong assumption dear unessential798312a.
Native Access 2 and Windows 10 are 100% compatible on any level.
If you have issues installing NA 2 on Win 10 the reason is anything else except of incompatibility. Most usual cause is because you do not have admin rights on your own computer.

Sorry, I forget most community forums are like this for software.

I myself did not update from Native Access (1) to Native Access 2 before Native Access 2 were actually only a name and the real version number is now 3.x.x .
When Native Access 2 were version 2.x.x then it did not actually install very well but the latest version of Native Access for your OS (which is now version 3.17.0) installs just fine on Windows 10 unless that you have an OS problem or a problem with one of the dependencies. I am a Windows user myself and have now updated to Windows 11 but when I had Windows 10 then the Native Access 2 (V. 3.x.x) worked just fine for me. Your indirect accusation against the forum members here is not justified. I do agree though that N.A. needs improvements including that the installer ought to be better at error reporting when/if it fails.
If you can not get latest version of Native Access for your OS to install on Windows 10 , 64 bit then you need to troubleshoot your Windows installation.
