Will a S49 MKIII Using KK 3.3.1 Drive an S88 Using KK2.9.6?

I've done MORE than due diligence hunting for answers to this question, and NO ONE in the NI Community will answer it. I want to know if KK 2.9.6 will cause conflicts in this set up. I'm not using the S88 to "drive" anything per say. I just want it to play, and respond to what I have dialed in on the S49 that's using KK 3.3.1, or whatever the latest is for that.

From my understanding - by design - you cannot have both versions of Komplete Kontrol installed at the same time - “by the book”.
That said - there are some technical workarounds that a few folks have documented but it is not recommended nor ideal. It will end up causing more hassle than it’s worth.
YMMV

Thanks for the prompt answer. So, having said that, can I use the S88 Mk1 as just kind of a dummy keybd where I'm just sending MIDI to it? OR since the real reason I bought it was so a really good player (I'm a drummer. You know what they say about drummers) could have the feel of a great keyboard. I could use the MkIII to put drum parts, and other parts. I'm assuming if I didn't have KK 2.9.6 turned on and just send MIDI IN/OUT. Does that sound like a plan?

It's easier to do on Mac, I have both KK versions running fine but only as standalone. I did make a MIDI template for running 2.9.6 from a MkIII keyboard
