I want to trigger Maschine with DDrum triggers

I can get the triggers to trigger Maschine but can't figure out how to select different sounds per trigger. EX: If I load a Machine drum kit, each trigger DDdrum trigger I hit references a single sound bank. I can't figure out how to select snare in the kit>make it sound the way I want and then switch Maschine to kick and make it sound the way I want. The snare ends up pulling from the kick notes. Make sense? Sure it's me being stupid but I could use some help please.

if I correctly understand the issue, the Routings in Group’s midi input must be set to Drumkit, otherwise a single sound (the selected one) will be played by pitching it

If OP is just loading a single instance VST drums it wouldn't be the group settings he wants configure.

Channel/Macro, and set the midi input for the "sound" not group. Probably to midi channel 10 or whatever midi channel you Ddrum is on Then you just need to make sure your VST drums are properly midi mapped for your kit, which should be something you can do within the VST itself.

Otherwise, if your kit pieces are spread across multiple pads I personally use the "manual" setting where it just lays the pads out chromatically, and I can then just program my midi devices to the notes that I want to trigger. I.e. with my sampled drum kits in the M+ which I have spread across two groups, Group A is on midi channel 1, group b on Channel 3. The custom page on my Launchpad has some notes that go to channel 1, other notes that go to channel 3.

Look, this is my opinion and you need to try your way.

You must route MIDI channel is to the exactly the one you want to trigger and do it for all 16.

You can try differently and it's how I would do it. Trigger sounds or FX with different device or just internal MIDI channel and Group. And you will still have control over your instrument.

I like to play with different setups and if I was able to control Arranger 4 MIDI and Audio Tracks with Maschine Plus internal and additional Android App.

    Everyone can do it.

It's in the online manual under Lock States 😉 it's about principle no matter what you want to add.
