z1 mk2 with iPad Traktor DJ 2 app

Hello. I was very excited about the release of the Z1 MK2 and switched to it and sold my old first generation Z1 in a hurry. And everything was fine paired with the X1 MK3 and two F1s on my macbook, but until I discovered that I can't use the Z1 MK2 paired with my iPad and the Traktor DJ 2 app. Can you tell me what I can do, is there any firmware update for the Z1 MK2 that might fix this?

    I doubt. Even the second batch of first version of Z1 was not working with iPad as the first batch.

    Add to this that now Traktor DJ2 for iPad is abandoned (EOL) and I doubt you have many chances to see something moving on that front

    Traktor DJ 2 has been dead for a couple of years now. I doubt there will be any updates coming.

    If you are lucky Djay Pro will support the z1 mk2 at some point, but I would not hold my breath on that either.

    it’s too bad, the app is really good and stable. I use it as a backup.

    Is my purpose as well, the backup opportunity. Do you maybe have an idea how get songs played which I copied from my Macbook collection to my ipad's internal hd? Atm my ipad can only play tracks which were downloaded via iTunes but all the fine stuff and my unreleased own tracks cannot be played. You have any idea?

    (I'm kind of Mac beginner and don't have much experience with MacOS - hence my question...🙏)
