I'm probably best suited to answer product specific stuff - that might be a better question for @Matt_NI or @Kaiwan_NI

I have been very busy lately DESTROYING boxes of floppies from the 80s with DOS software. I finally decided to part with my original Cubase VST installer CD, and the maroon-colored parallel-port dongle that came with it.

Yeah, no sentimentality; I've decided to be brutally militant in my decluttering. If I don't do that and somehow meet my end (timely or untimely), then some poor sap is gonna have to carry all my junk out to a dumpster in my driveway. I don't want to make anybody do that. I'm even harsh-culling my old photos!

I've also gone to the trouble to UNINSTALL tons of old junk from my computers. I could swear my SSDs are all 50% lighter with less data on them! 😉 Sheesh, I had Cubase 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and Ableton Live going back to version 9 (version 2 on CD).

Keeping Komplete 5 and some other installer discs, but only because there's room on a shelf in the closet in my studio. But not keeping them forever. Absynth is the only VST2 plug in I have, so if that still runs, I'll be able to figure out everything else. 😁

Oh yeah, I highly recommend Revo Uninstaller for anybody doing a clean up and wanting to avoid reinstalling Windows. I'm not connected with them; I just find their product very helpful (plus, it does backups before it uninstalls anything). But remember that everything comes with risks. If you use it and you break something, don't come crying to me. 😥
