Komplete Kontrol 3.4...Novation,Korg,Akai... but where is Arturia ?

My question in the title is simple… why is Arturia that is often referenced as a NI partner ( both directions ) not in the list ? For later ? Never ? … A bit disappointed. If I knew when I just changed to the Keylab MK3 …. Is there a roadmap for future deployment of the third party keyboard ?

I think that you are in the wrong forum to be asking that question , you probably need to ask Arturia that question. I am sure that N.I. will take all the business that they can get.
Want Arturia to become part of the NKS Hardware Partner Program ? Please have Arturia reach out to 3rd-party-developers@native-instruments.com .

partnerships are both direction … but indeed also asked in Arturia forum

These integrations are only basic MIDI CC mappings currently, so there's nothing special that they're doing. Takes a few minutes to MIDI learn in KK's controls.
Personally, I think the integration of Arturia's plugins into Komplete Kontrol is the much better element to celebrate. It only takes a few minutes to MIDI learn an Arturia controller to the KK controls and it's the same level of integration that.
Maybe when the integrations start to become more advanced, perhaps Arturia hardware will be a part of it?

mappings are easy indeed but would be cool to be able to browse komplete presets from the keylab screen

I agree completely in this but since as far as I know then since there is no license fee to pay for joining the NKS train then 'all' that N.I. gets is to sell more sound libraries and I don't think that they would mind Arturia joining in a greater way. So I honestly believe that it's Arturia that doesn't see the advantage for Arturia to invest in the hardware side of the program.

Agree , this is great :-) and I think that it may possibly be even greater if using the FreelanceSoundLabs Arturia NKS products also ?

I think that to Arturia then their keyboard range is of paramount importance and equally important to them that anything software works in connection with their keyboards as they want. It's a company that makes not just Midi controllers as N.I. do they also make hardware synthesizers and they sort of have their own software eco-system. So I think that that makes Arturia hesitant when it comes to joining the NKS Hardware Partner Program because they do not want their hardware to become seen as just some sort of extension of or side branch branching out of N.I.. If you take a look at the whole Arturia web site then they try to be different and avant-garde. And Arturia takes pride in this being different and in doing it's own thing. All in all then it makes it difficult to assess what Arturia will and will not do with respect to the NKS Hardware Partner Program. They might join the bandwagon on some products now or later but I think that maybe they will contemplate and scrutinize impact on business for a while.

These announced integrations don't offer that though, judging by the Novation Launchkey implementation it's just basic MIDI CC mapping that you can do yourself. It's not as grand as you think, I was disappointed with the Novation one as thought it would mean basic patch browsing via the device, or parameter names… But no.
I think as the post above this one, these companies are needing to find their way into the eco system as to what works best and keeps sales moving. And it's good that they're having these agreements as it will be needed for MIDI 2.0 which will follow, and be much wider reaching.
