start up in classic view

please add an option to start up kontakt in classic view just like it always did. i have no desire to use leap, i want to start creating sounds like every kontakt version up until now.

starting in the new default mode means i have extra clicks to make, its annoying. double clicking in default mode creates a new leap instrument instead of the classic instrument format. we cant even expand the instrument in default view.

ni changed the existing working flow to something worse. just like komplete kontrol, i purchased a different product and they changed it. kontakt is a tool for pros and you are ruining it by trying to appeal to beginners who use loop based stuff.

ni, please stop changing products that we already own, komplete kontrol is totally unusable for me now and you are now turning me off kontakt.

kontakt now has way to many browsing options and none of them work well.

disappointed again, i really am losing interest, why do ni keep going backwards with their updates? its so frustrating

So, all the rest of us who like the new view, will have to do that "extra click" instead of you? Seriously?

There is no way to have both you know, it will be either the one option either the other (it's one screen!), so someone will have to do that "extra click". Really is not a big deal (it shouldn't even mentioned as an "issue"!).

But hey, lets make a poll! If we loose, i really have no problem to do an extra click! 😊

Folks - please be kind to one another.

When Kontakt 8 plug-in is loaded; click VIEW and then toggle SET VIEW SETTINGS AS DEFAULT. This will preserve whatever your view settings are as the behavior for next time.

When Kontakt 8 standalone application is loaded; this option doesn't exist, because we just remember whatever the user last used (CLASSIC or DEFAULT).

Maybe i misread your comment and didn't understand it correctly (sometimes i read too fast).

So, i got the feeling that somehow you wanted to "enforce" your option against all the rest of us who prefer otherwise.

But, if it is just a matter of a per person pre-selection, then by all means, it is fine by me, i can even support this!

Thus, i also removed my vote-downs to you, since they are without purpose anymore. 🙏
