No audio input to Reaktor

I can't seem to get an audio signal into Reaktor 6.5 from a Behringer UMC-1820.

I'm using a new Mac Mini M4 running Sequoia 15.2

Reaktor will happily send audio to the outputs but for some reason will not read any audio at the inputs. All the Audio Settings and Routing is set up correctly. The input terminals are active but there is just no signal. The input levels do not respond.

Using Reaktor as a plugin inside Logic seems to be the only way to get audio into it.

I've looked for other mentions of this but can't find anything. It seems such a simple problem but it has me stumped.

Any help would be appreciated.

For anyone reading this. The issue was that Reaktor's access to the 'mic' was turned off by default in the system settings.

Assuming that your audio settings in Reaktor, at "Audio & Midi Settings —> Routing —> Inputs" are correct.

But are you sure that your loaded ensemble has active inputs? If it has inputs at all?

Please explain better (even more better with a screen shot) what exactly are you trying to do (in stand alone mode) and which ensemble you are using?

Also, in case you are creating a new instrument and trying to get sound, keep in mind that there must be a complete circuit between input and output, to hear any sound at all.

For example, this one below, can not produce any sound no matter if your inputs are connected:

All I basically want is to get audio into Reaktor. I'm at the beginning stage of building a new ensemble to process audio in real time but haven't been able to start because of this issue.

I understand that the audio needs to go somewhere but even in the default state (as per your screenshot) the input meters should still show the presence of a signal. Simply patching the inputs directly to the outputs also does not pass through any audio. I am confident there is no audio appearing at the terminals even though they are 'active' (by which I mean they are not crossed out.)

Since writing the question I've noticed that Sequoia is not officially supported Reaktor so I'm wondering if this is it. I can get audio from the same interface into Reaktor on my Laptop running an older system no problem.
