I can't find Kontakt in my logic DAW

I downloaded the free Kondtakt 8 player in advance of purchasing a few programs.. and wanted to try some of the free things included in the free Kondtakt 8 download.

I've downloaded Kontakt 8 and it's in my applications folder… but I can't see it when I open up Logic Pro…. when I buy other programs they automatically populate in Logic.. no problem with the other programs I've done ( not Kontakt)…. so now I want to add in kontakt… why isn't is showing up in Logic?

any suggestions on how to locate it in Logic?

    found it! I restarted my computer too early I guess… restarted it a second time and it pops up.. looking forward to using it.

    Great that you found out how to make it work Camron , now you only need to get the rest of the free stuff then you are good to go for your test drive of Kontakt , only notice that you should only get those free third party ones which will run in Player which alas is not many. But all N.I.'s own libraries will run in Kontakt Player including the Session Guitarist - Electric Mint 😁

    (of the free SonusCore libraries then only "TheOrchestra Elements" works with the Player version of Kontakt

    I am on the U.K. site… I would think I should be purchasing this from a U.S. or Canadian site?

    You ought definitely use the shop that you are supposed to or else you could get trouble when you want to pay. Alas I can not assist with shop questions other than general ones since I am not a N.I. employee.

    I just used a VPN to test another browser and I had no problem getting the USD currency site by below recipe (other than using VPN for test purpose)

    Your problem might be a browser one so try installing another completely new never used before browser then do not use a VPN and then go directly to www.native-instruments.com to see if that loads a different site . Else check your OS proxy settings.

    Since functionality or lack of same could be a browser issue then also try another browser with no extensions and all cookies accepted (my suggestions for alternative browsers would be e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi browser and Opera browser ,depending on what you do not usually use)

    The suggested browsers are what I expect will work if having never been installed before on the computer and then used as is with no extensions and all cookies accepted.

    Alternatively then contact N.I. Purchase Support and ask for help.
