Morning all

I wonder if anyone might be able to help

I have lost sound to my iMac through KA 1. I have a Mike connected to KA1 to record acoustic guitar into Garageband. I have done this with no issues for 3 years but now have extremely weak signal being received. Lights on KA1 are functioning as if ok but the signal not getting to GarageBand . All settings appear to be correct in GB and Mac audio inputs. Anything obvious I should try.

Regards

    Yes of course

System setting guided me to 'Audio Settings, which is not the same as going to 'Sound' settings in preferences

Can you try to bring this one to zero? It's actually -30 db:

    Also check the outputs.

Just scouting around online i can see that this is an issue with Native and OS Sonoma. I notice also there are no Drivers for Komplete Audio 1 other than for Windows on this site..looks like i ll be shopping elsewhere

Are you suggesting that my 2109 iMac is the issue?

@Peter Matt No driever are required on Mac since MacOS 10.9, our interfaces are plug and play.

What kind of mic is connected? Does it require phantom power? Is the phantom power engaged on the interface?

If you check direct monitoring with the headphones, how is the signal?

Can you check if GarageBAnd has access to the microphone? macOS Dialog: “*App Name* would like to access the microphone."

    Hi Jeremy

Phantom Power is engaged..im getting a signal on the input on the KA1 but its not getting to the mac.

Ive been using quite happily for a few years, although not picked up for a while and encountered this issue

Microphone is a Marantz MPM 1000.

Same issue with electric guitar plugged in to line 2, not actually seeing line 2 input in GB either

I wonder if it could be the USB lead?

You can try a different USB cable but I doubt the issue would come from there. Can you double check if your apps are selected here?

Great to hear, would you mind sharing a screenshot? That could potentially help others in the same situation.
