where is my software license?

When I bought my Traktor S4 MK3 brand new, it came with the PRO3 software, however now when I try and use it, I can only use it in demo mode. I've tried to reinstall everything but it still does the same. Can anyone help? I'm trying it on a different laptop now. Also another thing to add is the software license doesn't come up in my licenses? Do I need the HW attached to the computer at the same time?
