Italo disco bundle out of sync?

Do you also have problems with rhythm problem after recording tracks using discoteca keys and drums? I got such problems when using in Ableton even though quantization is turned on. Tracks show perfect trimming but when played, the rhythm of both the keys and drums gets glitched sync problems which mąkę them useless for the overall track since they are out of sync. Do you know what I mean? Please help anyone?

    Hi Rob

    I have this exact same problem with both DT keys and drums so looks like could be a bug. I have raised with support waiting for solution

    • I have also tried using other Kontakt sequenced instrument and having same problem so it may be a settings problem but I don't know what

    Iv been playing around with settings and i think the problem is something to do with ‘external sync’ communication in ableton with kontakt.


    i press the ext button in ableton whilst playing a sequenced instrument and it speeds up then unclick and it syncs in time.


    this doesnt however solve the issue when playing through midi clip but might be worth pointing out to ni support.

    It is defo an ableton/kontakt ext sync issue not sure who is the main culprit.

    The workaround to having midi clips play in time is to turn off ext sync within kontakt and manually match the bpm to ableton.

    Not ideal but works in meantime until hopefully support can give solution

    I appreciate your contribution so much. Thank You for your concern. I didn't think of this. The sync used to work fine from NI and Ableton. I don't know what doesn't work this time. I am interested what NI support will say. Still no response. But they usually respond within five -six days. Take care

    I sent them a sample track with glitched. Nie I got Infor that my mail was referred further. We'll see what they will come up with.

    no problem-yes i have sent same thing to support awaiting reply-in fairness it could be an ableton issue, i dont have an alternative plugin to check if problem is the same re ext sync-lets see what they say-all the best

    I use mutiple plugins from different sources including other ones from Native Instruments and the work fine. My intuition tells me that the Discoteca keys and drums are inherently glithchy. We'll see.

    i see- i have also tried other Kontakt instruments with sequencer and same problem so may be a universal NI glitch

    Hello HuX. I just wany to let you know that I still had no feedback from Native Instruments. Maybe they don't know how to fix the problem themselves.

    I do not know much about DAW use since I only ever use my DAWs , e.g. Ableton Live Lite, for very simple recording and editing tasks and otherwise just 'playing around'.

    But if I wanted to try to reconstruct what you are experiencing how would I go about doing that ?

    I use Ableton standard. The tracks (discoteca keys and drums) are trimmed perfectly yet when played. I used quantization and also tried no quantization. Yet the tracks when played are out of sync with the rest of the song. Mind you, on ther songs all other vsts including instruments from Native Instruments work fine. To my way of thinking it is the glitch inherent in discoteca keys and drums. I tried contacting the help deski but no info.
